A friendly meeting for you to find out more about community energy.  You will meet other people interested in forming a local community energy group.

Newport Community Energy Meeting

This inaugural meeting is in Llyfrgell Maindee Library, 79 Chepstow Road NP19 8BY, from 6.30pm to 8.00pm on Wednesday 13th August. Everyone is welcome.

Whether you are motivated by cheaper fuel bills (and who isn’t!) or want to help tackle pollution and climate change, this informal session will help you understand how community energy systems work and can bring real benefits to everyone involved.

The session will be led by Richard Clay, a Director of Community Energy Wales and an expert in the field. Richard will explain about how different schemes work and answer your questions about how  to work together to decide their best energy solutions.

This session would be ideal if you are interested in being part of a scheme in Newport and want to meet up with others who are also interested.  Drinks and snacks will be available. Mail Info@maindee.org or ring 07793 491429 for more info.
