An afternoon of Kurdistani music

An afternoon recital of traditional Tukish and Kurdish songs performed by Êli Sizer, a dengbej (bard singer), narrator, poet and musician. He writes songs in Kurdish (Kurmanci) as well as in Turkish in the Alevi/Qizilbash tradition. He descibed the style as mystic Sufi. Originally from the Adiyaman district of Eastern Turkey, Êli moved to the UK in 2016.
Êli says that all his efforts in life is devoted to the oneness of humanity. He considers that we are all the same in our core being and our role in life is to remain in the path for thinking and doing good.
