"Finding Maindee" ran from 2015 until 2018. It was the first major project run by Maindee Unlimited and inspired much of the work of the Charity that followed.  It was principally funded by the Arts Council of Wales as part of their Ideas: People: Places programme with additional funding from Esmee Fairbairn Foundation  and the Garfield Weston Foundation.

At Maindee Library on Saturday 10th December we will start the work of a community opera written and produced by Newport charity Operasonic .

On Tuesday 7th November 2017 we hosted a memorable and successful seminar which started with presentations on the specifics of public toilets, but broadened out [as we had hoped] towards wider discussions about public space and social justice.
