Grassroots are a professional Theatre for Development Company from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe .You can see Grassroots in the Parade at 12pm, performing traditional Zimbabwean dances and songs at 4pm on the UNISON World and Jazz Stage and at 8pm in the evening gig in the NCLA (tickets £7 or £5 conc.) www.grassrootstheatre.com |

In the week leading up to the Maindee Festival, Grassroots will be running drama development workshops with young people in Lliswerry High School, Lliswerry Junior School and St Andrews School. Their work in schools will be focussing on sustainable development and global citizenship. |
