Parade

12.00pm – Parade starts from Maindee Primary / VIPs assemble at Community House

12.30pm – Parade into Llanwern Street and Marlborough Road, VIPs join parade at end of Eton Road

12.45pm – Into Harrow Road, back onto Corporation Road & down Grafton Road into Rugby Club (1pm)

1.10pm – Festival opening at Information Tent / Arena by John Griffiths AM

1.30pm onwards in the Yurt: 2006 will be the 10th festival. To help celebrate this and to document this year’s event , Rhys Webber is photographing "faces of the festival" all afternoon – based in the yurt by info tent.

In Rodney Hall.

Tipi Storytelling

Encourage children to ask Richard to tell them a story

2pm onwards – Find Richard Berry for a story. Richard will be based in the Tipi. He will be telling stories all afternoon to anyone who comes in and sits down.

This is a quiet and friendly event, that will suit younger children, and all people who like stories.

There are free tickets for volunteers, performers etc & £2 discount chitties for all on site.
