Led by ace sax player, IAN EAST, the BALKANATICS is a stunning brass band that plays wild, rhythmically driving dance music from eastern Europe and Turkey. The band features London's finest including CHRIS BATCHELOR trumpet (Michael Brecker, Looose Tubes, Django Bates), DAVE POWELL tuba and top European musicians NUMAN ELYER darbuka -Turkey (Terry Hall, Mukka) and RASKO DAVUL – Serbia. |
